It is inshore snorkeling therefore we pull up close to a beach. It is initially about 6 feet getting off the boat and into the water, however upon entrance you can go as shallow (all the way to the shore line) or as deep (up to about 25 feet) as you feel comfortable with. Our family of three enjoyed the cruise, Destin is beautiful when your on the boat you get to really see it’s water. We did see a couple dolphins and fed some of the birds. They have refreshments on board if you’d like to drink and captain hats that my son fell in love with. It’s a great way to end the evening watching the sunset on the cruise.

The trip begins with a short boat ride either in the Gulf or Bay (depending on sea conditions). After the fireworks show they will end the cruise with a tour of the Destin Harbor. Our boats offer plenty of room to search the Emerald Green waters in the Gulf or Bay around Destin for the most playful dolphins. The captain was very informative and quite humorous. They then make their way out into the Gulf of Mexico and cruise up and down the beachfront sightseeing, looking for dolphins, and allow the kids to captain the boat. After the tour of the harbor, the boat will park near the fireworks barge so you have a beautiful view of the show. After the fireworks show we take you for a boat ride either in the Gulf or Bay (depending on sea conditions). Our afternoon trips consist of a 90 minute sightseeing dolphin cruise. They begin this trip with a minute harbor tour through the Destin Harbor followed by cruising out into the Gulf of Mexico to look for dolphins and also let the kids captain the boat. This cruise is a 3 hour combination trip which includes 90 minutes of snorkeling followed by a 90 minute dolphin cruise.
